As the winter months progress the Fishers, Indiana market saw a slight downturn in the average price per square foot from the previous month. Another bright note in this Fishers Indiana is that the current quarter of 2011 (October – December 2011) showed a slight increase from the previous quarter of the previous year (October – December 2010). The last quarter of 2011 showed a 2.9 percent increase up from $75.00 to $77.00 per square foot. Average days on the market dropped from 88 in December 2010 to 80 in December 2011.

In summary, the Fishers Indiana real estate market showed increases in every area compared to the Indianapolis market. Indianapolis homes for sale were down 8.2 percent from the same month a year before while Fishers homes for sale showed a 2.4 percent increase.  And Fishers, Indiana homes spent a little less time on the market than Indianapolis homes by 10 days, 98, compared to Fishers 88 days. As the winter months move on the average price per square foot should increase in all markets.
