Avon Town Hall Park Prairie: The Avon Town Hall Park Prairie contains several species of grasses and flowers. Many butterflies, birds, small animals, and deer are attracted to these plants.
Avon High School Marching Band: The Avon High School marching band has been ranked, five times, by the Indiana State School Music Association as number one in the state of Indiana. They have been ranked as number four in the nation. In addition, their drumline and their color guard have both been ranked as one of the best in the world in assorted categories.
