History

In 1836, Brownsburg Indiana was founded with the opening of a post office.  It was named after one of the first settlers to the town, James B. Brown.  Brownsburg was incorporated in 1848, but remained fairly quiet until the past couple of decades when the population began to expand by over 90%.

Attractions

O’Reilly Raceway Park:  O’Reilly Raceway Park is one of Hendricks County’s most diverse auto racing facilities.  It presents more than 100 events annually that are suitable for all ages.  Whether it is drag racing or stock cars, this raceway has it all.  For more information or to answer questions, call 317-291-4090.

Nature Valley Ranch on White Lick Creek:  As the name implies, Nature Valley Ranch is located alongside White Lick Creek.  It has 75 acres of riding trails and is a great place to enjoy the outdoors.  For more information, call 317-852-6615.
