Broad Ripple Village is located just miles northeast of downtown. Every May, the Indianapolis Art Center presents the Broad Ripple Art Fair every May that includes over 200 national and international artists. All types of ethnic cuisines are served here including Indian, Mediterranean, Greek, Asian, Italian, and Mexican. The Monon Rail Trail and the Central Canal Towpath are the two main trails provided for walkers and bikers alike. The White River is available for the adventurous who like to kayak.
