Indianapolis Airports

The Indianapolis International Airport was opened in 1931 and in 1962, the Indianapolis Airport Authority (IAA) was established as a municipal corporation. The IAA is responsible for developing, owning, and operating six airport facilities in Indianapolis Indiana. The six facilities include the major airport, the Indianapolis International, in addition to Mt. Comfort, Eagle Creek, Metropolitan, Hendricks County Airport-Gordon Graham Field airports, and the Heliport downtown. The Indianapolis International, is served by 19 national passenger and 10 major airlines and has 39 non-stop destinations.
