The Indianapolis Art Center, located in the Broad Ripple Culture District, is a community arts organization that is not-for-profit.  As one of the top community art centers within the Midwest, its goals are to augment people’s lives through art and to make art available for everyone to enjoy.  The campus is 12 acres and framed by the White River.  It consists of the Marilyn K. Glick School of Art, the Cultural Complex, and ARTSPARK.  The Marilyn K. Glick School of Art is 40,000 feet with 13 high tech art studios, a library with a two-story atrium, an auditorium, and a gift shop.  The Cultural Complex is home to the Fiber Studio, The Writers’ Center of Indiana, and individual artist studios.  ARTSPARK is the growth plan for the land that surrounds the Art Center.  Here, people can experience both nature and art in unique ways by using all the senses.  Every year, the Art Center hosts the two-day long Broad Ripple Art Fair on the grounds as a fund raiser.
