Wholesale District Indianapolis Indiana

Historically a hub to one of the largest railroad networks in the nation, the Wholesale District has become the business, arts, and entertainment district.  Hoosiers are known for their love of basketball, and the Conseco Fieldhouse is home to the basketball teams, ICircle Centre Mall Indianapolis Indianandiana Fever and the Indiana Pacers.  The Indianapolis Colts play their home games at the RCA Dome - which also hosts the Coca-Cola Circle City Classic, NCAA Basketball Championship games, and other unique events.

For shoppers, this district offers Circle Centre, a four-story mall.  Attached to the Circle Centre is the Indianapolis Artsgarden, which is a seven story, glass-domed structure that holds many free exhibits and performances every year.  Other notable places are the Indiana Repertory Theatre, the Colonel Eli Lilly Civil War Museum, and the Chase Tower (the tallest skyscraper in Indiana).
