Christopher Blice is co-founder with Jon Edwards of the Blice Edwards Studios in Indianapolis, Indiana. The team collaborates to fulfill corporate and private commissions with a focus on creating a homogeneous environment.
Since its inception in 1993, the Indy team has expanded to utilize the varied talents of many other artists, all coached and coordinated by the original duo of Blice-Edwards.
The company enjoys the motto among their fans of “Masters of Illusion.” Their goal is always to work closely with their clients, who come from within the Indianapolis art community and beyond, to produce individualistic, customized and practical spaces which then become true works of art. The Christopher Blice-Jon Edwards reputation is one of unparalleled excellence and client service.
In making these custom environments, the Blice-Edwards team uses paint, Venetian plaster, various types of fabric, dye and gilding.
Their work has received many awards and accolades and has been featured in many upscale magazines, including “Indianapolis Woman Magazine” and “Better Homes and Gardens” (1999). The company is in fact in the forefront of Indianapolis art.
Christopher Blice has no formal arts education background, but instead has taught himself how to maximize his gift and flair for three-dimensional art of all types. Jon Edwards has an extensive and solid education in fine and graphic arts.
The group specializes in all kinds of backdrops and murals, featuring Trompe L’oeil, custom paintings and portraits in any style, custom wall finishes, quality hand-painted walls and ceilings, custom furniture as art and faux mosaics.
