The park’s construction makes use of environmentally friendly elements, such as permeable pavers, bio-basins, LED streetlamps, and drip irrigation for storm water quality purposes. The park’s prairie-meadows were planted as a way of reducing the maintenance costs, as well as providing a rich habitat for wildlife.
