Broker Associate Career Development

Broker Associate Opportunity and Commission Plans

As a Broker Associate, you help people buy and sell real estate. Your Team Leader will help you with training and support. We have two commission plans available.

Plan A: $695 /month. You keep 100% of the commission minus a $195 transaction fee per side. This plan is available to agents that have sold 5 or more homes in Indiana. The price includes Errors & Omissions insurance and Centralized Showing Service. See example net commission on Plan A (below).

Plan B: $12,000 per year plus $195 per closed transaction side and $50 per month for E&O insurance and Centralized Showing Service. Plan B provides the option to pay when you are paid by splitting the commission (60% to you, 40% to M.S.WOODS) until M.S.WOODS has received $12,000 after rebates, referral fees, transaction fees, lead fees, and the commission paid to you, etc. After that, you keep 100% of the commission minus $195 per closing side for the remainder of the calendar year. . All agents with less than 5 Indiana closed transactions must be on this plan for the first year.

Team Leader Opportunity

Once you've sold 5 houses as a Broker Associate at M.S.WOODS, you become eligible to be a Team Leader. As a Team Leader, you are compensated for recruiting, training, and supporting M.S.WOODS Broker Associates. For each Broker Associate you recruit, train and support, you receive 50% of the net income they produce for M.S.WOODS the first year of their association and 16% of the net income they produce every year thereafter. Net income is defined as Gross commission minus referral fees, transaction fees, lead fees, and the commission we pay you, etc. For example, if your new Broker Associate is on Plan B and generates the maximum amount payable to M.S.WOODS ($12,000), you would receive 50% of $12,000 for the first year ($6,000). If they produced nothing, you would receive nothing. For year 2 and all subsequent years, you receive 16% of the net income your Broker Associate generates for M.S.WOODS. If they produced the maximum amount on Plan B ($12,000), you would receive 16% or $1,920 each year. If they produced nothing, you would receive nothing. The maximum they can generate on Plan A is $8,340, netting you $4,170 at 50% and $1,334 at 16%.

Director Opportunity

When your Broker Associate becomes a Team Leader by recruiting, training and supporting a new Broker Associate, you become their Director. As Director, you receive 16% of the net income generated for M.S.WOODS by your Team Leader and 8% of the net income generated for M.S.WOODS by your Team Leader's Broker Associate.

Executive Director Opportunity

When your Team Leader becomes a Director because his/her Broker Associate became a Team Leader when they recruited a new Broker Associate, you become their Executive Director. As Executive Director, you receive 16% of the net income generated for M.S.WOODS by your Director, 8% of the net income generated for M.S.WOODS by your Director's Team Leader, and 4% of the net income generated for M.S.WOODS by your Director's Team Leader's Broker Associate.

3 Ways We Help You Capture More Leads

We have implemented 3 unique strategies to prevent your clients, prospects and leads from going to other agents.
1. Enter any name and email address into our CRM. The system will automatically text or email you the moment someone registers using that same email address. From that point forward, your contact info and photo appear on all 30,000+ MLS/BLC listings as the SOLE agent. 2. Link to our site from any 3rd party site (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, blog, email, etc.) using a special code we provide. Anyone clicking through to our site from this special web link will automatically see your contact information and photo displayed on all 30,000+ MLS/BLC listings. 3. You get your own dedicated website address (e.g., Jane.Doe.mswoods.com). This is a fully functional copy of mswoods.com, branded with your contact information and photo. Any visitors to your website, who subsequently try to visit mswoods.com, are automatically re-directed back to your website. So no need to worry about losing leads to the company website.
