Diana had sold my neighbor's home fairly quickly so I decided to contact her when I was ready to sell my own. We first contacted Brett Martin for an appraisal on our mother's home. After receiving a fair appraisal from him, we began the process of emptying her home of 50 plus years and getting it ready to sell. When we completed that task, we listed the property with Brett Martin. He made several suggestions to help us prepare the property to market. He was aware that none of us live close by and he offered to do some jobs that needed to be done without any cost to us. The neighbors later told us they saw him washing windows as well as trimming shrubs. He also had two bedrooms painted in more neutral colors. We have never worked with a realtor or known one who worked harder to sell a piece of property. Within a week of listing, we had an offer which we accepted. Another five or six weeks found us at closing.

Our paths have crossed with Denny off and on over the last 25 years living here in Plainfield. We found out that he was also a realtor when Denny helped our son find and buy a house three years ago. His was a foreclosed home and Denny was great helping him through that process. Our current need was getting my parents condo sold. They had had to move out the fall of 2014 due to declining health, and, after a listing with a very poor realtor for a long 6 months, I called Denny.
