White Lick Creek Trail crosses or parallels some beautiful waterways, invluding its namesake. It also crosses the old electric rail line of the Terre Haute Indianapolis and Eastern, and evidence of that are visible from the trail. The paved trail becomes narrower at points, and is shaded by mature trees at for portions of the trail.
